Curriculum Vitae

Vladimir Ž. Jovanović was born on October 17th 1968 in Skopje, FYR Macedonia.

Since 1981, he has been living and working in Niš, Serbia.

Currently, he is employed as a full professor at the English Department of Niš University, teaching language and linguistic subjects. Jovanović has authored four monographs and university text books, as well as a number of papers published in journals and collections of papers. He has participated in several scientific and professional projects so far.

During the period 2006-2010, he was at the office of Vice Dean for Research and International Affairs at the Faculty of Philosophy in Niš, as well as the editor-in-chief of the Publishing unit at the faculty.

Vladimir Ž. Jovanović has attended a number of specialized seminars for academic staff in terms of teacher training, curriculum design and distance learning. He has been a member of the European Society for Studying English (ESSE), and the Serbian Society of Applied Linguistics.
